Sarah Bridge
Sarah Bridge is a development professional with extensive experience in fundraising for public health and education. She is currently Head of Development at Pasteur Foundation UK, where she leads strategic fundraising initiatives to support world-leading scientific research between the Institut Pasteur and UK institutions, and Franco-British partnerships in global health.
An advocate for strengthening Franco-British ties, Sarah engages with key stakeholders in both countries to drive impactful scientific partnerships. Through her expertise in strategic development, stakeholder engagement and fundraising, she is committed to advancing initiatives that create lasting social and scientific impact.​
Prior to Pasteur Foundation UK, Sarah was Senior Development Executive at Eton College, where she raised funds for the College’s innovative partnership with Star Academies, seeking to bridge-the-gap between the state and private school sectors. She managed a portfolio of high-net-worth donors and worked closely with senior leadership to cultivate key stakeholder relationships.
Before Eton, Sarah held fundraising roles at the University of Oxford, first at Hertford College and later at St Edmund Hall. Across these positions, she successfully raised millions in philanthropic gifts, led international fundraising efforts, and developed innovative engagement strategies, including North American donor outreach and peer-to-peer campaigns.
Sarah’s development career began at MEDLIFE, an American NGO based in Peru, empowering equal access to healthcare, education, and a safe home. She worked in the communications department, reporting on healthcare, community and development projects.
She holds a BA in Modern Languages and European Studies from the University of Bath and speaks French, Spanish and Italian.
