Pasteurian Young Leader meets President Macron and Prime Minister Starmer
Pasteur Foundation UK was delighted to witness the recent state visit of President Macron to the UK, a significant occasion that beautifully celebrated the deep ties between our two nations.
Our very own Pasteurian and Franco-British Council Young Leader, Boris Chaumette had the pleasure of meeting President Macron and Prime Minister Keir Starmer alongside fellow young leaders, a proud moment for our foundation and a testament to the strength of our shared values in championing Franco-British research, education and innovation.

Institut Pasteur scientist announced as Franco-British Young Leader '25
Our heartfelt congratulations to Boris Chaumette of Institut Pasteur on being named a Franco-British Council Young Leader 2025! His selection recognises his strong partnerships with UK institutions including UCL, King’s College London, Cardiff University, and The University of Edinburgh.
Professor Belkaid: The new face of "Make it iconic. Choose France."
Professor Yasmine Belkaid, immunologist and President of the Institut Pasteur, has joined the international attractiveness campaign “MAKE IT ICONIC. Choose France*”, which aims to promote France's boldness and spirit of innovation, by showcasing the country's research, expertise, know-how and economic strength.

On 15th November 2023 The Institut Pasteur announced the launch of the Pasteur Foundation – UK, a private non-profit foundation aiming to raise awareness and funds for scientific cooperations between the Institut Pasteur in Paris and scientific institutions in the UK.
