The Pasteur–Oxford Genomics Atlas
A global platform for pathogen genomics and public health.
The Pasteur-Oxford Genomics Atlas is a unified, curated global platform that brings together genomic data on bacterial pathogens with expert analysis and shared nomenclature. It enables researchers, clinicians and public health agencies worldwide to track pathogens, understand antimicrobial resistance, and respond more effectively to infectious disease threats.

The Pasteur-Oxford Database
Welcome to the Pasteur-Oxford Genomics Atlas, a global platform for pathogen genomics and public health, jointly developed by Institut Pasteur and the University of Oxford. The Atlas brings together curated, open and secure databases of bacterial isolates, genomes and genotypes, integrating population genomic data with epidemiological, phenotypic and provenance information across more than 140 microbial species and genera.

Built on the BIGSdb software developed at Oxford and curated by expert teams at Pasteur and Oxford, the platform provides shared nomenclatures and standardized genomic typing frameworks that enable reliable comparison of strains worldwide. It underpins research, surveillance and outbreak investigation for pathogens of public health importance, supporting global, One Health and antimicrobial resistance efforts.
