Philippe Chalon

Philippe has 22 years of experience in managing external engagement activities to help companies and business leaders raise their profile. He has been responsible for developing cooperative relationships with public officials and the media to enhance organisations reputation and visibility. Philippe is based in London and he is a dual citizen, French and British.

 

For the past 15 years, he has been Director of External Affairs at International SOS, reporting to the Chairman and CEO, Arnaud Vaissié.

 

International SOS is the world's leading health and security services company. Present in 90 countries, the group currently operates with 14,000 employees, including 6,000 medical professionals and 3,200 security experts. International SOS has over 12,000 corporate clients, including the majority of the Fortune 500 as well as many Governments and international organisations.

Philippe is also the Managing Director of “Le Cercle d’outre-Manche”' (CoM). The CoM is a group of 50 French business leaders operating in the UK. It is organised as a think-tank and its purpose is to benchmark the competitiveness and attractiveness of both France and the UK. The CoM is also a platform and a channel to promote Franco-British cooperation.

 

Philippe has been French Foreign Trade Advisor in the UK since 2018.

 

He is a graduate from the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (Sciences-Po, 2000) and from the University of Cambridge (M.Phil in European Studies, 2002).
